Our effective approach provides support and resources for students who are at risk of dropping out. Extracurricular activities like outdoor sports encourage student participation in school decision-making and provide opportunities for meaningful community service. For example, volunteering at a children’s orphanage.
We offer mentorship programs for primary level, life skills for high schools, vocational training for college students, in-demand skills and job search assistance for university graduates. Tutoring and counseling services are accessible for all levels. An innovation pool of knowledge that trains innovators, founders and creators on how to protect their intellectual property rights with patents, designs, trade secrets and copyrights is our latest project.
What Are We Doing?
At Sole for African Child, we address external factors that may contribute to students dropping out, such as early marriages due to poverty, homelessness, and family instability.
What else do we do at the home of the African child?
Sole for African Child, subsequently, mobilizes schools to partner with community organizations for provision of resources and support so that students have the necessities they need to succeed in school. School supplies and a pair of shoes top the list.
These comprehensive interventions help students overcome academic challenges, build supportive relationships with adults and peers, and develop the skills they need to succeed in and after school.
